On the 22nd June, NIEL’s Heritage Lottery Funded “Investing in Northern Ireland’s Heritage” programme will be hosting a free workshop on legacy fundraising in partnership with Will to Give. Will to Give is made up of an ever–growing group of Northern Ireland charities (currently 56 charities) who have come together with the one aim – to promote gifts in wills to all charities, right here in Northern Ireland.

This workshop will clearly set out a range of options for promoting legacy fundraising particularly relevant for charities with a small budget.

Legacy gifts across the UK are estimated to be worth around £2.5 billion, and this source of income is predicted to grow in the coming years.

    Agenda:

    • Legacy fundraising in Northern Ireland
    • Gifts in Wills Marketing & Strategy options
    • A case study by a local charity

This workshop will be facilitated by:

Elley Martin – Chair of Will to Give & NI Chest Heart & Stroke Donor Marketing Manager

Deirdre Murphy – Will to Give Development Officer & Dee Consulting
